We are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join our client’s team! This dual role offers a fantastic opportunity to work across both purchase ledger and sales ledger functions, ensuring accuracy in processing invoices, staff expenses, and client contracts.
Responsibilities:
Purchase Ledger
- Accurately processing invoices and expenses.
- Booking travel and accommodation for field staff.
- Reconciling creditor statements and resolving queries.
- Ensuring payments are allocated correctly.
Sales Ledger
- Inputting and checking new client contract data.
- Raising refunds and adjustments to client accounts.
- Managing direct debit administration.
- Liaising with sales and client experience teams to resolve issues.
- Posting unallocated cash and credits.
What We’re Looking For
- Numeracy & accuracy – Strong attention to detail.
- Computer skills – Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Communication – Ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Problem-solving mindset – Proactively resolving queries efficiently.
- Time management – Capable of prioritising workloads in a fast-moving finance department.
