      Portfolio Payroll are pleased to be partnering with a fantastic Bournemouth based organisation who are currently seeking an experienced, driven & hands on Payroll Manger to join their small payroll team.

      Reporting into the Finance Manager, the Payroll Manager will have line management duties for two payroll staff members and will oversee the daily payroll operations. This role is ideal for an individual who has an appetite for continuous improvement & making positive changes to the payroll function.

      Responsibilities include:

      • Processing of a payroll of 2,500 + on a monthly basis
      • Managing compliance with all statutory and third party payments
      • Effective management of the payroll team
      • Liaise with employees on query resolution
      • Manage payroll balance sheet reconciliations and post payroll journals
      • Review and make suggestions for process improvements

      The successful candidate will be a hands on payroll professional with previous people management experience, as well as expeirence of payroll journals & balance reconciliations.

      This role offers hybrid working with only 2 days per week required in the central Bournemouth office. Some other fantastic benefits on offer such as flexible working hours, a discretionary bonus, generous pension contributions and private health insurance.
