      Job Title: Payroll and Finance Administrator

      Summary of Responsibilities:

      Payroll:

      • Maintain strict confidentiality of employee records and payroll data.
      • Manage full-cycle payroll processing, including timecard entry, vacation/leave tracking, and benefit deductions.
      • Verify payroll inputs for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal policies.
      • Resolve discrepancies and ensure payroll is processed accurately and on schedule.
      • Communicate with employees and managers regarding payroll documentation and policy adherence.
      • Calculate and remit all payroll-related taxes (e.g., WSIB, EI, CPP, EHT, source deductions).
      • Manage monthly retirement contributions and year-end tax reporting (T4/T4A slips, taxable benefits).

      Finance:

      • Enter accounts payable invoices and reconcile vendor statements.
      • Maintain vendor relationships and assist with vendor payments.
      • Prepare journal entries and generate financial reports (job costs, expenses, etc.).
      • Support the finance team with general administrative tasks as needed.
