The Role
As a Payroll Subject Matter Expert, you’ll work alongside the Payroll Bureau team, supporting business development and ensuring clients receive the best onboarding and payroll experience. Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting Business Development Managers – Providing payroll process and compliance advice during sales calls.
- Building and maintaining new client relationships, ensuring seamless service delivery.
- Coaching the Business Development team, keeping them up to date with payroll and legislative changes.
- Guiding customers on both payroll services and system features.
- Delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring clarity and compliance at all times.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong payroll experience, ideally in a bureau environment.
- Up-to-date knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance.
- A proactive and confident communicator who enjoys working with clients and internal teams.
- Ability to simplify complex payroll concepts for a non-payroll audience.

Working Hours
- 40 hours per week (Monday – Friday, 8:45 AM – 5:30 PM).
- 1 in 4 Saturdays (10:00 AM – 2:00 PM), paid as overtime.
