      Job Title: Senior Payroll Specialist

      Location: Mississauga (hybrid)

      Reporting: Payroll Manager

       

      Our client is actively looking to grow their payroll team with an experienced hands on payroll specialist – this is a great opportunity with an awarded employer with a pipeline to leadership growth in future

      Job responsibilities:

      • Previous experience handling high volume multi-provincial payroll
      • Full cycle payroll – experienced onboarding new hires, working with Time and Attendance systems to gather employee hours, process pay, handle payroll audits etc.
      • Year end experience with T4s, provincial payroll compliance knowledge
      • Work alongside jr payroll staff to provide guidance, validate and check payroll etc.
      • Reconciliation experience
      • Familiar with GL reporting for payroll
      • Strong excel experience – comfortable with pivot tables, vlookup etc.
      • PCP is considered an asset
