Job Title: Senior Payroll Specialist
Location: Mississauga (hybrid)
Reporting: Payroll Manager
Our client is actively looking to grow their payroll team with an experienced hands on payroll specialist – this is a great opportunity with an awarded employer with a pipeline to leadership growth in future
Job responsibilities:
- Previous experience handling high volume multi-provincial payroll
- Full cycle payroll – experienced onboarding new hires, working with Time and Attendance systems to gather employee hours, process pay, handle payroll audits etc.
- Year end experience with T4s, provincial payroll compliance knowledge
- Work alongside jr payroll staff to provide guidance, validate and check payroll etc.
- Reconciliation experience
- Familiar with GL reporting for payroll
- Strong excel experience – comfortable with pivot tables, vlookup etc.
- PCP is considered an asset
