Role: Payroll Supervisor
Location: Mississauaga

Our client within a growing property and construction environment is actively looking to expand their payroll team and bring on an experienced payroll leader.
Job Responsibilities:
- High volume payroll for multi-cycle Ontario based payroll for both hourly, salaried and contract employees.
- Ability to oversee 1 direct report in the daily duties of payroll processing
- Review and approve remittances for EHT, WSIB, WCB and employee group benefits
- Hands on experience processing year end payroll process including working alongside audit teams during financial audits
- Previous experience working directly with benefit vendors to improve coverage, review changes and communicate employee issues or questions
- Act as the organizations payroll SME – advise on best practice, remain up to date regarding legislation and compliance changes etc.
- Ability to lead and coach exisiting payroll talent
- Working alongside Finance and HR leaders
- Working with an inhouse ERP system – previous ERP experience is an asset. Any previous implementation or optimization experience is an asset.
- High attention to detail, great communication and ability to quickly adapt to a growing organization is a must for this role.
- PCP or PLP certification considered an asset
