      Key Responsibilities:

      • Payroll Processing: Ensure timely and accurate transmission of payroll data to ADP and investigate/resolve payroll issues.

      • Reporting and Compliance: Create payroll reports, maintain accurate employee databases, and prepare reconciliations and payroll deductions.

      • Benefits Administration: Coordinate employee benefits and process vacation/leave requests.

      • Financial Support: Assist with financial audits, prepare T4s and ROEs, and reconcile WSIB and EHT deductions.

      • Record Keeping: Maintain payroll and personnel files, including employee training records.

      Required Skills and Qualifications:

      • Certification: Canadian Payroll Association PCP Certificate required.

      • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in payroll, preferably in a multi-location environment with experience processing payroll for hourly union and salaried employees.

      • Software Skills: Experience with ADP and Time and Attendance systems.

      • Soft Skills: Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills; strong computer skills, particularly with MS Office.

      • Personal Qualities: Detail-oriented with the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly.
