Position: Documentation & Compliance HR Team Lead
Location: Fully on-site Monday-Friday in Downtown Toronto near Union Station
Compensation: $80,0000- $90,0000 + perks (3 weeks of vacation, with increases after 2 and 5 years of service, employer-paid benefits, pension plan, team social events)

As a Documentation & Compliance Human Resources Team Lead, you will be responsible for managing and supporting a team of Employment Documentation Consultants to deliver exceptional client service. Your role includes overseeing the creation, review, and maintenance of employment documents while ensuring compliance with Canadian employment law and HR best practices. You will also lead training, performance management, and continuous improvement efforts to enhance team effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor a team of Employment Documentation Consultants, providing training and guidance.
- Oversee the preparation, review, and updating of employment documents in accordance with company policies, Canadian employment law, and industry standards.
- Ensure efficient service delivery, meeting KPIs and client expectations.
- Conduct performance reviews, coaching, and professional development plans for team members.
- Organize team meetings, training sessions, and coaching workshops to enhance productivity and knowledge-sharing.
- Manage complex documentation inquiries and client escalations.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Legal and HR Advisory, to ensure compliance and consistency.
- Monitor team workload to ensure deadlines and service targets are met.
- Build strong client relationships through expert guidance and high-quality documentation services.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement innovative solutions.
- Stay informed about Canadian employment law, HR policies, and industry developments.
Qualifications & Experience:
- CHRP designation is mandatory.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in HR documentation, employment law, or a related field.
- Leadership or team management experience is an asset.
- Degree or diploma in Human Resources.
- Strong knowledge of Canadian employment law and HR best practices.
- Experience in a client-facing role, ideally providing HR advice to all levels of staff.
