International Payroll Specialist
Portfolio Payroll – Canada Markham, Ontario, Canada (Hybrid)
Our client is a global manufacturer headquartered in Markham. This position provides an opportunity to be an integral part in the company’s payroll function and support global teams. This role requires hands-on experience with high-volume payroll processing.
This role reports directly to the Global Payroll Manager:
Responsibilities:

Process bi-weekly, semi-monthly and monthly payrolls for a growing retail company throughout Canada, US and Mexico.
- End-to-end payroll processing for 1000+ employees.
- Must be comfortable overseeing hourly, salaried and unionized payroll cycle for the organization.
- Year-end reconciliation and submission of source deductions, WSIB, EHT etc.
- Ensure that all necessary government filings and remittances are made in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- Ideally 3-5 years of experience processing high-volume payroll.
- PCP or PLP certification an asset.

Strong understanding of Dayforce.
- Organized and posses a strong attention to detail.
- Can work in a collaborative environment
