Portfolio Procurement have been engaged by our leading Essex based client to recruit for an Export and Trade Compliance Control officer.
This role comes with a very attractive basic salary which will be discussed at application stage.
Main responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the implementation of the Trade Compliance plans, policies and procedures.
- Ensure correct Trade Compliance controls are identified and implemented
- Apply and manage local export authorisations
- Provide guidance and frequent communication on trade compliance matters
- Identify training needs related to Export Compliance
Key Skills and Experience:
- In depth knowledge of UK and US export Laws and Regulations
- Experience with managing teams
- Experience in implementation of Trade Compliance programmes
- Knowledge of industry best practice
- Proven direct experience with International Trade regulations experience
- Experience within a High Technology, Defence or Aerospace Environment
- Proven Knowledge of ITAR and EAR regulations and global sanctions framework
